No matter how old you are, moving to a new city is always an exciting experience that can sometimes be stressful. But if you want to move to New York City, think about it a lot before actually doing so. They say “if you can make it here, you can make it everywhere”. The Big Apple brings a lot of surprises to your life, but will all of them be nice? A lot of people will tell you it’s a tough place, so consider everything carefully before moving to NYC.

Have you ever been to New York at all? You should definitely come here before actually moving to the Big Apple. Maybe you have some friends or relatives living there. Ask them to show you the city with all its downsides. Try to feel the atmosphere. Okay, you want to move to New York, but will you be glad to live in such a fast and vibrant city? Keep in mind that New York is always overcrowded and it’s almost never quiet, so you’ll have to love its never ending sounds.

Before moving to NYC, you should also know that it is very expensive. On the other hand, the city offers great career opportunities and tons of wonderful food as well as unlimited entertainment options. When you say “I want to move to NYC”, do you really mean it? You will have to try really hard to become successful here. Do your best to be the first everywhere. Start with getting the best apartment at a reasonable price.
