Located on the east side of midtown Manhattan, Murray Hill is one of the most popular neighborhoods of the borough. It runs from East 34th to 42nd Streets and from Madison Avenue to the East River. Murray Hill is home to the two iconic pieces of architecture: Grand Central Terminal and the Chrysler Building. The neighborhood is also home to such educational and cultural institutions as Stern College for Women and the Oxford University Press, as well as the CUNY Graduate Center.
